A brilliant, fun and well attended gig on Friday 15 November 2024, Inspired By Britpop, organised by promoter John Seymour, of Magic Bus, Sound , Events and Promotions and hosted by the Wedgewood Rooms, Albert Road, Portsmouth, raised the fantastic amount of £3200 pounds for Rowans Hospice. A cheque for that amount was proudly presented to this well respected charity by John earlier this week.   The gig was headlined by local covers band Brit Pop Revolution, with strong support from other local bands Island City, Casual Scene and solo artist Ollie Hutton.  Special guests adding a unique touch to the occasion included Helen Spooner, Amanda Victoria, Brad Sanders, Gary Smith and Rock with the Foxes. A huge thank you to Geoff Priestley of the Wedgewood Rooms and his team for hosting the event, to all the artists who freely and enthusiastically gave their time and to all those attending the event.
