Rock Climbing in Portsmouth
You’ll find roped climbing walls, a huge bouldering arena, a dedicated kids’ climbing area and something that’s entirely off-the-wall. Great fun for kids and the perfect antidote to boring gym regimes for adults!
Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a usually pre-defined route without falling.
With 26 climbs, towering over 25 feet high, there are plenty of challenging climbs to get the whole family having fun together. Try out the Twister, challenge your friends and family to the SkyScraper or see if you are brave enough to attempt the Leap of Faith.
Hi ROCK is a neighborhood indoor climbing wall located at The Hayling Faculty on Hayling Island, Portsmouth.Facilities include bottom roping, leading and an auto belay. Parking is free.
We're open Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 9.30pm for public sessions. This is a chance for all you experienced climbers to come down and climb.

Red Spider is an awesome bouldering centre situated in Fareham! 1200 m2 of awesome climbing to be enjoyed with a great atmosphere, amazing music and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We opened in November 2015, just a few hundred metres from J11 of the M27 and cover Portsmouth, Southampton and surrounding areas.
