Whiteley shopping centre has teamed up with WAVE, a local mental health charity, to launch an online raffle to help raise funds in the run up to Christmas.
A variety of local businesses and retailers from across the centre and the Fareham area have donated a range of items to create three giant prize bundles. Worth a total of £850, the hampers include gift cards from Whiteley’s Boots, wagamama, The Entertainer and Cineworld, as well as an array of festive essentials and beauty treats.
Raffle tickets are available to purchase online for £2.50 from now until midnight on Thursday 13th December, with the lucky winners being revealed on 16th December by a member of the community and Olympic gold medallist, Eilidh McIntyre, at the Hayling Island Sailing Club.
The online raffle is part of Whiteley’s ongoing support to WAVE, which is based in Hayling Island and provides support for young people with bullying, mental health and isolation.
Whiteley’s centre director Mia Gordon is a proud trustee for the charity and the centre’s co-owner, British Land, recently donated £1,000 to fund mental health support workers at Highbury College in Portsmouth.

“At just £2.50 a ticket, I would encourage everyone to get involved not just for the chance to win some fabulous prize bundles, but also to donate to this wonderful cause.”
